Cahill’s JetHeat heater is the most fuel efficient heater on the market. In addition, it is also the cleanest diesel heater. Unlike conventional diesel heaters, the design of the JetHeat allows it to burn fuel similar to a natural gas heater. This eliminates harmful byproducts such as smoke, soot and emissions.
Liquid fuels, such as Diesel or Gasoline, are typically turned into an aerosol cloud (fine droplets) before combustion by the fuel injection system. Gaseous fuels, such as natural gas, are vapor before the combustion process.
The JetHeat while Diesel/Kerosene fueled DOES NOT run a conventional Diesel cycle. JetHeat units uniquely vaporize the fuel prior to combustion and burn as cleanly and completely as Natural Gas.
When liquid fuel (droplets) combust, they burn from the outside droplet surface inward consuming the fuel. At the end of this process there is no oxygen left near the droplet surface preventing a complete combustion. At this point when the oxygen runs out, a soot particle is formed due to this incomplete combustion. The remains of this "incomplete combustion" process is a soot particle.
A fully vaporized fuel, such as Natural Gas, burns much cleaner and more completely with no opportunity to form soot. The JetHeat while Diesel/Kerosene fueled DOES NOT run a conventional Diesel cycle. JetHeat units uniquely vaporize the fuel prior to combustion and burn as cleanly and completely as Natural Gas.
